Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Spire Technosoft (“Spire”, “we”, “us”) processes personal information when you use the BNI Centennial Companion App (the “App”) for BNI Jaipur Centennial chapter members and authorised staff.

The App helps chapter members manage Gives, Asks, profiles, meeting announcements, and RSVP responses. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Who is responsible for your data

Spire Technosoft is the operator of the App and the primary contact for privacy requests.

Chapter leadership may access member data within the App according to role permissions (for example, admin or support roles assisting members).

Information we collect

We collect information you provide and data generated through normal App use:

• Account identifiers: email address and authentication credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form by our auth provider).
• Profile information: display name, mobile number (with country code where provided), company or profession details, and chapter role.
• Chapter content you create: Gives, Asks, meeting RSVP responses, and related notes or attendance information.
• Technical data: device network status (to show offline states), app version, and standard server logs needed to operate the service securely.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session.
• Display and manage chapter Gives, Asks, member directory features, and meeting workflows permitted to your role.
• Operate, secure, and improve the App and hosted API.
• Respond to support requests you send to us.

Legal bases (where applicable)

We process data to perform the service you request (account and chapter features), for legitimate interests in operating a secure chapter tool, and where required to comply with law.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

We share data only with service providers that help us run the App, and with other chapter users according to in-app permissions and visibility rules.

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Render — API application hosting.
• Share actions you initiate (for example WhatsApp, email, or system share sheets) are controlled by you and the apps you choose.

Data retention

We retain account and chapter content while your account is active and as needed to provide the App.

You may request deletion of your account or correction of profile data by contacting us (see Support). Some records may be retained where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access inside the App is protected by login and role-based permissions.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong password and keep your device secure.

Notifications

The App may request permission to send notifications (for example, meeting reminders). You can deny or revoke this permission in device settings. We do not send marketing push notifications through the App today.

Children

The App is intended for business networking among adult chapter members and is not directed at children under 18.

Your choices and rights

You can update certain profile fields in the App. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, contact us using the Support page.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in regions where they operate data centres. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the App or chapter channels where appropriate.
